This 2 ounce jar of Food Grade Pectic Enzyme from North Mountain Supply is a must-have for home winemakers and cider makers. Added to fruit must it breaks down natural pectins to improve juice yield pressing efficiency and overall clarity. In red g must it also helps extract tannins and color for better structure and depth.Packaged in a tamper-evident airtight plastic jar to help maintain freshness and potency. Use 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of must for most wine and cider making needs. For best results dissolve the enzyme in a small amount of room-temperature water and mix thoroughly into the must before fermentation.Important Usage Note: Always follow dosage guidelines for your specific recipe and process.
