• Japanese binchotan charcoal from Tosa, Japan. Binchotan charcoal is effective at absorbing odor, reducing water hardness, and improving the taste of drinking water.
• 1 binchotan charcoal stick is included in one package. Use 1 stick for 3-5 gallons of water; stick is approximately 1.2' to 1.4' in diameter and 5.9' in length.
• Filtering time is approximately 9-10 hours.
• Reactivate charcoal every two weeks by boiling for 10 minutes and letting dry.
• Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality.
